Nice to meet you!
I was born and raised in Wyoming and the values that define our state, such as hard work, integrity, personal responsibility and service, have shaped every stage of my life.
I moved to Albany County in 2009 to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in political science at the University of Wyoming. After graduation I continued my education at the UW College of Law and have called Albany County home ever since.
Today, I serve as a Deputy County Prosecuting Attorney. I have maintained my focus on protecting our community, supporting victims, and pursuing justice. My legal education was earned right here in Wyoming and my approach to public service reflects Wyoming’s values of fairness, accountability, and common sense.
Service has been at the center of my life. I've been fortunate to represent my peers in multiple ways. I served as a representative and as Student Body President at the University. In 2022 I joined the Wyoming Army National Guard as a JAG Officer and continue to serve with the 115th Field Artillery Brigade.
I also believe in investing in the next generation. I choose to focus on leadership development for Wyoming's high school students. Mentoring Wyoming's next generation of leaders will build resilient, vibrant, and united communities. One of the organizations I serve is the American Legion Wyoming Boys' State program. Wyoming Boys' State is dedicated to bringing the virtues our WWII veterans fought for, to our current youth through education and application. The Boys' State program teaches the youth across the state about leadership, civic engagement, and patriotism. These values have strengthened and made our communities great.
Wyoming has always been a place where neighbors step forward and help one another.
President Theodore Roosevelt summarized that spirit perfectly when he said, "Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em 'Certainly I can' -Then get busy and find out how to do it."
Whether serving in the courtroom, wearing the uniform, mentoring future leaders, or volunteering in our community, I hold true that service is a responsibility.
As your County Attorney, I will bring experience, integrity, and leadership to the office. I will work every day to uphold the law,. protect safety, support victims, and pursue justice.
